Abstract

In recent decades the knowledge Economy has become one of the main research topics. Successful organizations create and use knowledge. As they interact with their surroundings, they absorb information, turn it into knowledge and take actions based on the combination of the knowledge, experiences, values and internal rules. There has been a change in the entities which evolve from organizations based on authority and control to organizations based on information and knowledge. In this sense, this research raises as influence, in the knowledge management process, variables such as the support of management and technological skills and capabilities of the company.
