Abstract

Recently we have obtained differential chromaticity thresholds for 20 stimuli and 3 observers. In this work we analyze the variability of the results and we study the fitness of different colour-difference formulae to our experimental results; the aim is to test if the discrepancies showed between the experimental results and the ones given by the colour-difference formulae are included in the interobserver variability. Results shows that FDC—G• y FDC—G•• tormulae tit better to the experimental results white CIELAB formula shows important discrepancies with the experimental resuIts
