Abstract
In the present study we have given a brief introduction to the Web of Science database, a tool that is included in the ISI Web of Knowledge (WoK). First, we carried out a search into the literature for investigations that include the term �cultural diversity�, during the period of 2007 to 2010. Next, we analyzed the contents of the entries we found, and described the main contributions made by authors about educational sectors and cultural differences. It is significant that we failed to find any articles that relate secretarial and maintenance personnel to cultural diversity, which suggests that this sector is not considered to be a protagonist in the process of integration of foreign pupils in schools. However, to promote equality, mutual respect, personal development and full integration into society of these students, it is important that all participants of the educational community work together.
