Abstract

The Informed Consent, which is mandatory, requires health professionals, and specifically those in practice type care like doctors, to have both legal and ethical knowledge of the questions and dilemmas that the application of this can lead to. This issue increases when talking about surgery specialties, as in this case of Orthopaedic Surgery. Therefore we analyze, evaluate and deepen knowledge about the application and issues that Informed Consent Documents generates for Specialists in Orthopaedic Surgery.
