Abstract
This work analyses the relationships between pupils' motivational goal involvement in physical education classes and his perception of motivational climate established by teacher in the classroom. For the measurement of these variables, 110 pupils of 3 º and 4º of ESO have completed a Spanish version of the Perception of Success Questionnaire and the Perception of Motivational Climate in Physical Education Classes Questionnaire. To calculate results, structural equation modelling was employed. This statistical technique makes possible to compare theoretical models with empirical data. Results show the motivational climate importance as influential variable on the pupils' goal involvement during the class development. This document analyses the theoretical and practice implications of these findings in the teacher's work
