Abstract

Cranial lesions may be due to several causes: nutritional defciencies, infectious diseases, tumours or traumas. The aim of this study is to determine the origin of the lesion located in the right parietal of the cranium of a woman aged between 17 and 25 (MON-010A individual). Afer the diferential diagnosis —which assessed the diferent types of cranial injuries— it was concluded that the lesion related to a cranial trauma with SCALP, since it shows signs of necrosis and granular tissue formation, the reabsorption of which left the area depressed and with a marginal porosity which suggests that the individual survived to the trauma.
