Abstract

The crisis that started in the olive oil sector in the last third of the nineteenth century forced a profound change in the different areas of the industry. This paper analyzes the business in the export sector in Andalusia, with emphasis on its remarkable growth, as well as actors, corporate strategies and networks that were established both among exporting firms, and between these and the rest of the Andalusian economic activity.
