Abstract
Initial elementary school math teacher training programs include the familiarization of specific learning objectives, given that the use of these objectives takes part of their future professional work. Identifying what objectives can be pursued with a school mathematical task belongs to the domain range of their didactic knowledge. In this paper, we describe how primary-school preservice elementary school teachers express the objectives associated to a given school mathematical task. The results show differences in the capabilities, the cognitive level of the mentioned contents and the lack in consideration of contexts.
