Résumé
This work intends to perform a general analysis about what has been the collection of information through the different assessment mechanisms of the Internal Quality Assurance Systems (SGIC) of university degrees. In order to evaluate the performance of the SGIC, we proceeded from the information of the monitoring reports prepared by both ANECA and other quality assurance regional agencies in Spain that have led to the first monitoring reports in 2012. From these reports, we have sought a range of evidence for evaluating whether the information generated in the operation of the SGIC (both internally in the university and in the quality assurance agencies) has been used to monitor the different university degrees, and how useful the data have been. The analysis finds out that there is currently a shortfall in the SGIC performance that can lead to a lack of generation of useful information highly appropriate to improve teaching.
