Abstract
Several studies reveal a lack of interest that future teachers show towards science. A possible solution could be integrate practical work in the subject “Didactics of Sciences” in the Early Childhood Degree, in order to increase the develop of scientific skills and motivate the students. The purpose of this research is to compare the opinions of students from three different classes about their interest in science after class attendance, considering that group A did not perform any practical work, group B did seven sessions, and group C did three sessions. Results show that there are no significant differences between groups, although B and C groups consider that practical works represent the activities that most contribute to increase their interest in science. Group A values other kind of activities.
