Resum

The aim of the study was to examine the association between perceived and conceptual tactical skill in invasion sports with objective tactical skill in primary schoolchildren. A sample of 85 students (39 males and 46 females) from 5th-6th grade of primary education completed the Spanish version of the questionnaires of the perceived tactical skill and tactical knowledge in invasion sports. Furthermore, objective tactical skill in invasion sports was evaluated (3 x 3 matches of basketball futsal of 5 minutes each one) through the Game Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI). The results of the Spearman test showed that the dimensions of perceived tactical skill positioning and deciding were significantly associated with game performance (r = 0.21, p ≤ 0.05), the knowing ball actions with the guard (r = 0.30, p < 0.01) and knowing about others with skill execution (r = 0.31, p < 0.01). Perceived and conceptual tactical skill in invasion sports is positively associated with objective tactical skill in primary schoolchildren.
