Abstract

We present two Iberian-African plants which are new records for the flora of the Region of Murcia and are mainly located in the southwestern part of the province. Several aspects related to corology, rarity, degree of threat and conservation of these species are discussed. The presence of Kalanchoe × houghtonii D.B. Ward, an invasive alien plant which is seriously affecting the threatened flora present at the Castle of Águilas, is confirmed.
