Resumen

Este artículo tiene como objetivo mostrar cómo los profesores de Inglés de Negocios pueden facilitar el uso de la metáfora entre sus estudiantes, ya que forma parte del léxico que suele causar más dificultades. El estudio de las metáforas en los programas de enseñanza de inglés específico provee a los estudiantes de una herramienta útil para comprender el vocabulario, mejorar su capacidad lectora y comprender los fundamentos de un tema particular. El objetivo es presentar una propuesta didáctica que pueda ser puesta en práctica en un programa de inglés para fines específicos (IFE) en el Máster que se imparte en la actualidad en la Universidad de Almería, con el fin de desarrollar la competencia lingüística de los estudiantes durante el proceso de aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera a la hora de usar las metáforas.
