In the present doctoral thesis the study of the Alto Guadalquivir wetlands and their zooplanktonic communities has been approached. In it, the effect that various limnological variables have on this community as well as the influence of the trophic state of these ecosystems has been analysed. The results obtained suggest the suitability of this community for the evaluation and subsequent conservation of these wetlands
