Abstract
At this time, where education has taken a major importance in the dynamics of Chilean society, we have tried to review the educational legacy of Cardinal Raúl Silva Henríquez and its effect on higher education institutions created by him, by listening your future from Christian imprint, with the Salesian charism, where man stands in all its fullness as an integral and transformational leader, with such a wide vision and prophet, who still continues to set milestones and impact on Chilean education. This this work can serve and suggest further research in this vast work and challenge is to educate today's youth in all dimensions of the human to develop and be a contribution to future generations.
