Resumen

This doctoral thesis, which is essentially methodological in nature, is the result of a research project originated from a series of web-based information systems designed and developed by the candidate, in collaboration with researchers specialised in their respective disciplines (History, History of Art and Archaeology). These platforms have been used as case studies to assess the methodological and procedural impact on a range of research processes, such as: gathering and verification of sources and data; storage, management and retrieval of information; workflow; sharing and co-creation of content; and illustration of results.ogy).
