Resum

Art for Learning Art (ALA) ‘Art for Learning Art’ is an educational and research project for learning contemporary art in a museum context. Reuniting and balancing the dimensions of education, research, and artistic creation is called a/r/tography, because this methodology proposes the fusion of these three dimensions (Irwin, 2013; Marin-Viadel and Roldan, 2017, 2019). One of the most notable activities of the project ‘Art for Learning Art’ is one which has taken place annually since 2013 in the CajaGranada Foundation Memorial Museum of Andalusia, in the city of Granada (Spain). The museum and the foundation possess a collection of contemporary art containing original works, mainly by Spanish artists, as well as a selection of international works, of which graphic artworks are especially represented. Each ‘Art to Learn’ exhibition selects eight or ten artworks with which the public interacts in an eminently visual way, constructing a collaborative installation in which the images, made by the public, principally students from the city and province of Granada, are in dialogue with the original artworks (APA, 2020)
