Resum

In this work we are pretending showing to the reader a vision of how, the theory about motivation has been changing along the history, pointing our study in the newest theories about motivation into the enterprise. It is pretended to highlight that organisations can not properly work if they do not motivate to their employees and, then it is underlined the importance of motivation, nowadays, mainly in this period of crisis in the enterprise and, in general into every activities made. Currently, there is not enough with a weak motivation based in some acknowledgements to the employee for having done adicional work. These acknowledgements consist of extrinsic rewards, such as extraordinary money, more holidays, paid travells or giving him the title of the best employee for the month. No, it is not enough, furthermore it is neccesary to encourage each worker that seeks to find the perfect motivator job for him/her, which makes to the employee feels that he/she is doing what is right and finds a special meaning for himself/herself, i.e., the employee work because he/she is intrinsically motivated. Nevertheless you should not forget that, this intrinsic motivation, will have some cost and it can be lost unless some additional intrinsic rewards are added. Whichever ther reward is, it is important that all workers understand, that reward is related to a specific feat. Indeed, with that, people do not get accused of favoritism if a person receives few rewards. Likewise, being clear to explain the reason for the reward, can assist to the other employees what to do to get the same reward and motivate them to imitate the behavior rewarded. In this way, it shows a new way of looking at the motivation that had not been taken into account, until recently. It is not longer thought in extrinsic or intrinsic motivation separately, but it is thought in a combination of both types of incentives, to produce greater efficiency and productivity in the activity of employees. To sum up, the current career is similar to the work of the managers, and the main matter is that the new job have to energize y drive to the one who work on it. Obviously, there also are challenges and some controversial actions. However, the employees actually feels made and rewarded by their job. Indeed, sometimes they have to reach rationalizing their time so that the do not have to sacrify some areas in their life.
