Abstract
This paper describes, firstly, a complete probabilistic study of pyramidal trunk distribution as an extension of univariate trapezoidal distribution, which is used as a probabilistic model in the PERT model, in investment analysis and in the evaluation method of the two distribution functions. Secondly, we obtain the marginal distributions of pyramidal trunk distribution, which are analogous to the distributions of the Pearson univariate continuous system. Finally, we simplify the expressions of the pyramidal trunk distribution, standardising the ranges of the original variables.
