Resumen

The location in 1603 of the tomb of "doña Juana" and "don Felipe" nearby the tomb of the "Reyes Católicos" in the transept of the "Capilla Real" of Granada begins a process of reorganisation of this space that exceed approaches merely spatials. A new attention of the Crown is perceived relating to that antique and well, regarded foundation. Finally its consequence will be the construction of the altarpieces-reliquary in the transept in order to redefine spatial and symbolic that space as an apology for the Crown.
