Abstract
The great heterogeneity of the main acoustics variables in the urban environments implies carrying out an exhaustive research to manage to select a suitable way the set of inputs for an environmental noise prediction model. Several authors establish the need to introduce variables related to the different urban typologies to obtain a modeling of the environmental noise that allows simulating the incident sound energy in the different locations appearing in the urban environments. In addition, the consideration of temporary component of the sound energy turns out to be very advisable to manage to reproduce the inmission levels throughout the time for a certain location, since factors like the stabilization time, the variability of the level of incident sound energy, the appearance of anomalous sound events are considered to be indispensable to manage characterizing the urban soundscapes. Therefore, in this work we are going to carry out the analysis of the acoustic relevant variables for the modeling of the sound energy, as well as the development of a model of environmental noise prediction considering the before analyzed variables.
