Abstract

This work introduce two new elbow fibulae of type Huelva collected in the lands of Guadix’s. These fibulaes are joined with a third fibulae found in a excavation of emergency related to metallurgic production. In this way, it is possible to consider the existence of a productive hinterland in relation to the original centre of the La Miel (near to Cerro de la Mora), like its metallic components detailed in the analysis results, in the high plateaus of Granada. These results give a greater importance to the craftsmanship from Late Bronze Age in the oriental periphery of the Basin of Granada. Such discoveries reiterate the polarization of these questions in the Oriental Andalusia, raising the traditional forms or the Ria of Huelva due to a high percentage of discoveries in Andalusia and, of course, in the Iberian Peninsula. Among those discoveries it is possible to find the oldest fibulaes known in this group.
