Abstract
This study informs about the evaluation of the Spanish educational research from a scientometric approach. So, a representative journal is analyzed, concretely, the Revista de Investigación Educativa (Review of Educational Research). This scientometric analysis is carried out by means of one of the modalities of evaluations available: bibliometric analysis of its productions and indexes related to the case, during the period 1983 (year of appearance) until the year 2000.
