Résumé

losé Marín-Baldo was an architect who worked in almost all the aspects of his profession: he designed different types of new buildings; took part in the restoration of historical buildings; planned commemorative monuments; drew up town plans, etc. At the same time he was active as a writer and painter. He published anides on contemporary architecture, and also purely literary texts �poetry, novels and short stories�. His faene as a painter rested on his landscapes. This rich variety makes José Marín-Baldo one of the most interesting figures of 19'h century Spanish art.
