Abstract

From the applied areas of control and motor learning (inside the specific called �Motor Behaviour�), it arise the importance of knowing and understanding the different strategies of the contents in the education environment with the objective of awakening the interest of adolescents for the sport activities inside and outside the school. These three factors related to the variable of �motivation� are analysed in the present Project considering a sample of 293 adolescents. The main objective is to analyse the pupils´s motivation by studying the most relevant curricular contents to work with at school, the teenager�s predisposition to the practice of sport inside and outside the educational environment and their self-perception of the motor competencies. Taking this analysis into account, the teaching professional will make sure that their pupils acquire an adequate motor learning and therefore they can increase the probability to practice sports in their spare time. According to the results found, 34% of the pupils do not practice any physical activity in their free time, mainly because they do not have time (22%), because they have little interest (15%) or because they do not like to doing so (7%).
