Acciones ciudadanas en defensa del Centro José Guerrero

Resumen

This text summarizes the actions carried out by a citizen platform for the preservation of the José Guerrero Centre in the city of Granada. The Centre is at risk due to the unilateral decision adopted by the Diputación de Granada (Provincial Government of Granada) of creating a �Granadian Foundation for Contemporary Art" �later passed with the name of FNEO�, with a merely political structure, that tried to deprive the centre's independence. Once eliminated this important forum of artistic discussion and dismissed its director together with all the activities scheduled, if an agreement is not reached soon with the painter's heirs, the centre will be closed on a permanent basis.
