Resumen

Este trabajo estudia los efectos de los contactos de negocios en la orientación a la innovación en empresas de mujeres. Para contrastar estas hipótesis analizamos dos muestras diferenciadas, referidas a España y al año 2006. El análisis de ambos conjuntos de datos indica que el conocer a un emprendedor puede constituir un modelo a seguir, más que un contacto útil para obtener recursos destinados a innovar. Asimismo, la edad de la empresa resulta fundamental para determinar qué contactos de negocios son relevantes para su orientación a la innovación.
