Resumen

Los cambios en el sistema universitario, motivados por la adaptación al Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior, plantean nuevas exigencias a los docentes. Las tecnologías de Internet han alcanzado una amplia difusión social, especialmente entre los más jóvenes, invitando a explorar sus posibilidades para la mejora de la docencia y para la consecución de los objetivos educativos propuestos. El presente trabajo expone una experiencia basada en la aplicación de un wiki, herramienta orientada al trabajo colaborativo, a la enseñanza de la contabilidad internacional con los siguientes objetivos: articular un temario, proporcionar a los alumnos un espacio abierto donde publicar sus trabajos y aportaciones, y difundir conocimiento a otros interesados en la materia fuera del aula. Los resultados obtenidos muestran tanto aspectos positivos (en relación con la difusión de conocimientos a la sociedad o la creación de un temario flexible, por ejemplo), como negativos (falta de participación activa de los alumnos como editores del wiki o escasas posibilidades de interacción social). El trabajo concluye con una serie de recomendaciones que pueden contribuir a mejorar la experiencia de otros docentes en el empleo de este tipo de herramientas.
