Abstract
One of the problems of the automatic recognition of speech is the distintion between voice and silence, and more specifically, the detection of the istant in which can be classified as explicit because it reaches the end of the word in way former and independent to the actual recognition stage. The detector we present is specially adapted to the spanish language in which thre is very much words of length greater than one sullable and in which the prosody may make that the final syllables be of little energy.
