Abstract

Here is presented in this essay an approximation to the performance of roles of genre in relation to the rarámuri sexuality, Amerindian people located in the Tarahumara saw, to the southwest of Chihuahua�s state (Mexico), which possesses a demography of 84.086 persons in this place, according to the census of 2000 (INEGI, 2000). According to the data collected during the eleven months of work of field distributed between the 2001 and the 2005, and to the review of the literature in the matter, we describe here in the first place to the process of engagement and marriage in the pair relations, and secondly we clarified to some ends related with the reproduction and the sexual experience. Everything which will give an idea of set on the matter in question where there crosses historical and ethnographic information.
