Abstract
In the present work we have studied the mesiodistal diameters of teeth in 49 short familial stature (SFS) children and they have been compared with a control group of 63 normal statured children. The results show that exists a trend toward a smaller dental size in the permanent teeth 14, 24, 25, and for the temporary teeth 71, 75, 81, 82, 83. They do not exist asymmetries between the homonymous teeth of the same arcade, and the· standard of sexual dimorphism of teeth in permanent dentition is similar to the population of normal height.
