Resumen

El objetivo de este estudio fue conocer la correlación entre los parámetros Foster y TRIMP para cuantificar la carga de entrenamiento en fútbol así como valorar cuál puede ser más eficiente para el trabajo de campo atendiendo al tipo de escala RPE utilizada así como valorando la importancia de tener en cuenta o no el tiempo de recuperación entre series para calcular la FC promedio. Se llevó a cabo un estudio piloto con 30 casos. La propuesta Foster se calculó para ambas escalas RPE (6-20 y CR10). Concluimos que a) existe evidencia de una alta correlación entre Foster y TRIMP siendo mayor aún utilizando la escala RPE CR10; 2) se puede evitar la ardua labor de discriminar tiempo de trabajo y de descanso en cada tarea pues tener en cuenta ambos en cada tarea para hallar la FC media supone una correlación mayor.
