Abstract

Given the great terminological proliferation related with the cultural diversity, makes almost indispensable to stop to meditate on the meaning and the reach of many of the terms that we use, being claimed the necessity to carry out studies of this type, where he/she stands out its importance for the investigation and the fonnation in aspects related with the cultural diversity.The present study investigares the answ ers that the groups of universit y students carry out , trying t o relate each one of the terms presented w ith the cultural diversity, the interest that the concep ts and t he ideas implied in each term had for them, toget her w ith the interaction among the same ones and the proposal of new terms and concepts that consider that they were not present in the oliginal listing and that they should figure in him. The opp osing results allow to advance in the know ledge of which sorne of the invest igated population's concep tual and terminological connections they are, and in sorne proposals for the improvement of the perception and the know ledge that the university students have of the cultural diversity, as well as the handling of concepts and the use of the appropiate terminology of these multicultural contexts.
