Abstract

The purpose of this study is to quantify the university lecturer teaching workload which correspondsto one ECTS credit. In particular,the Computer Architecture and Computer Technology areaat the University of Granada has been considered. For this goal we have first evaluated the legal and methodological EEES aspects currentlyrequired, and comparedthem with the previous"pre-Bologna"teaching framework. Based on a survey of 13 people of that area, we experimentally determined the "lecturer ECTS" value and analyzedthe results. After evaluating the various aspects described, we discussedhow the new methodology framework can affect the teachingactivity of university lecturersin this field, and consequently, thetime available to other activities such as management, research or technology transfer.
