Crohn 's disease is a chronic, granulomatous inflammatory bowel disorder of unknown origin that may affect any portian of the gastrointestinal tract, including the oral cavity. The incidence of this entity is low. Clinical features suggestive of Crohn 's disease include oral ulcers, facial or labial swelling, angular cheilitis, mucosa/ tags or cobblestoning of the oral mucosa, and hype1plastic gingival lesions.
