Abstract

The aim of this research is to review a multilingual writing program of the scientific essay, accessible from PLE. For this purpose, a mixed design is appliedwhich, on the one hand, let us investigate the significant differences in the perception of writing self-efficacy and the students’ writing competence in English and Spanish; and on the other, it is a question of discovering if writing self-efficacy may establish a mutual relation with the knowledge of other writing competences. Likewise, it is analyzed which writing competences improve and which ones do not, in English and in Spanish. Finally, the use of resources and telematic applications in the process of learning of each student, which can have an influence on theprogram effects, are described.
