In keeping with various Spanish agreements, MRPs (medicine-related problems) are not classified but are included in a nonexhaustive, non-exclusive list which, among others, has an epigraph of “others”. In a study carried out in a community pharmacist, a series of MRPs included in this epigraph were identified, with a common characteristic: the discrepancies between the opinions given by different doctors. In this piece of work, eight clinical cases are presented included in the "others" part, with common characteristics.METHOD Study of descriptive, retrospective cases in which eight patients are presented and the corresponding MRPs are identified. RESULTS In the eight patients, at least one MRP was identified which responded to the description: contradictory information between doctors, which led to the proposal of its inclusion in the lists of MRPs. DISCUSSION The MRPs of contradictory information between doctors create great confusion and uncertainty among patients, therefore it is important to identify them to help the patient take the correct decision. CONCLUSIONS An MRP has been identified which has been called "contradictory information among doctors". Although it does not occur very frequently, this MRP should be included in the different lists of MRPs.
