Résumé
The present study analyses the way adenoid tissue elimination influences over facial morphology in a 33-couple monozigotic group, 21 couples had never gone through operation, in other 6 couples both brothers had gone through operation, and in other 6 couples by one of the two brothers had been operates. 32 cephalometric measurements from lateral teleradiography have being applied for twin zigosity diagnosis, completing in with blood group data, child-birt details, lateral inversion phenomenon... Main conclusions are linphatic tissue elimination influences mainly incisal protusion degree and upper incisal tipping. Straigter profiles are due to peripharingeal linphatic tissue elimination. From a squeletal point of view, upper maxillar bone is affected anterior-posteriorly.
