Abstract
The news contained in a manuscript about the “albas”, “rafas” and “noches” (irrigation shift schedules) of the waters of the Small Fountain of Alfacar make it possible to know about the sharing of these waters among several tenants from Pulianas, Pulianillas, Jun and Maracena, farmhouses of the city of Granada. It maintains the Muslim customs and helps us to understand how waters are distributed according to these customs among the different tenants of the estates that are within these farmhouses with right to irrigation.
