Abstract
In this work we comment a part of the method and results obtained from the colour investigation we have performed in the quarter of Albayzín –Granada-: The colours of main elements of the façades have been instrumentally and visually identified, trough a colorimeter and the palette NCS-. Afterward we have carried out the electronic register and statistical analysis of the searched data. Studies of colour like this help to know, with objectivity, the technics and chromatic palette traditionally used on historical buildings and, therefore, to reach the right conservation and recovery of them
