Résumé
For Weapon System Programs, from several decades ago has been accepted that when evaluating the acquisition, renovation or replacement of weapons systems, are applied the criterion Cost-Effectiveness Analysis, as a tool to support the making decisions. There is a tendency to highlight the cost of procurement or acquisition at the expense of the life cycle costs. This work reinforcement the idea that the Life-Cycle Cost Analysis continues being a pending subject to be resolved within the Ministries of Defence, without letting recognize that the solutions are own of each country.
