Abstract

Main objective: To evaluate the level of training, knowledge and awareness among health professionals Intensive Care Unit of Granada, on various bioethical issues: the bill of rights and obligations of users, the Law on the autonomy of the patient and rights and obligations regarding information and clinical documentation. Methods: Prospective descriptive study, using self-administered questionnaire or administered. Main results: In the hospital setting ethical problems frequently arise, as well as ignorance and lack of training of nursing staff to deal with them, insinuating a bioethical profile depending on the parameters studied: sex, age, profession , years of experience and type of contract. Main conclusion: The nursing staff training required to meet the professional ethical dilemmas.
