Is it realistic to think that geoturism and geological outreach can become niches of employment? This is the question we want to address in this round table through four very different experiences. From the implications of getting the UNESCO Geopark seal and what it has meant in terms of rural development in the region to the models of companies dedicated to geological tourism, going through the products offered by these latter, is what four speakers will present. These ones belong to the administration or the private sector. We will continue with a session of questions and interventions by the public, in order to discuss, among others, on the strategies we have to follow to introduce our offer in a sector clearly booming, the scientific tourism, a kind of tourism whose motivation is the interest in science and scientific culture.
