Resum

We present a review case of painful distal ulna prosthesis and with radiographic indications of erosion in the sigmoidal cavity of the ulna by means of interposition plasty with allograft of the Achilles tendon, in the radio-ulnar interosseous space. !is plastia was described by Sotereanos in 2002 to treat radio-ulnar impingement after a failed resection of the distal ulna. The patient experienced improvement of pain by six points on the analogue visual pain scale, reaching a complete pronation-supination arch and grasp strength of 30 kg. The good results obtained allow us to propose the technique as an alternative treatment in the revision of failed distal ulna prosthesis.
