Abstract

Adherence to the practice of physical activity is related to higher levels of health and well-being, but unfortunately, there is currently a marked trend of detachment from physical activity as the years go by, from the university stage forward. For this reason, we propose a systematic review on the adherence to the practice of physical activity of Spanish university students. The methodological guidelines that are followed in this review are those set out in the PRISMA statement. We contemplate a sample of 11 articles, found in WOS and SCOPUS. As a main conclusion, we state that this is a very current topic of growing interest in the last 10 years and that in most of the articles reviewed there is an excess of sedentariness in the population of university students.
