Zusammenfassung

Background: At present, the technological society in which we live allows us to make new ways to integrate ICT in the training process to achieve greater performance and student participation without imposing a burden on the traditional teaching program. Method: The aim is to present a useful and innovative multimedia tool for Social Science subjects which enables student self-learning, helping to complete their training both inside and outside the classroom and complementary to the traditional system. Different guided exercises solved step by step in different materials, including feedback to facilitate the realization and understanding by the student, who can play as many times as needed and are available in different formats, such as html, pdf and flash are proposed. Results: All material created is available freely, with creative commons license, for any student, researcher, teacher or person to whom it may concern at the project website. Conclusions: The implementation and use of this multimedia tool in the classroom has led to an improvement in the acquisition of concepts, in terms of student assessment and evaluation of content knowledge of different subjects.
