Resumen
In this study the present area of influence of a small Andalusian town, having notable characteristics worthy of research, are maked out. The region is of medium size mountains, eminently rural and quite isolated. Furthermore, it is strategically located on the border of the old Kingdom of Granada, between Upper and Lower Andalusia. Several criteria have been used: Mobility of travellers using public transport, commercial, sanitary and cultural attraction, etc.
