Abstract

Abstract: This research attempts to determine the influence of the animated television series, The Simpsons, on family structure, based on the drawings produced at several schools in the third year of children�s education in Granada, Spain. From the field of art education we observe the stereotypes and roles that appear, and we analyze the formal aspects present in the drawings (size and placement of characters, configuration of space, etc.). The visual results are enriched by interviewing the children to obtain their opinions. The results show the visual images to which the children are exposed and the repercussions of those images on education at a young age.
