Resumen

Pharmacies in Granada in the 16th century are studied here by analyzing the ones that belonged to the Ripa family, who had lived in the city since the beginning of the century. The studied documents show both their family bonds and their professional lives, all telated to the business world and the pharmacies. We take special care in the elaboration of the vast inventory of all the family goods, especially the ones which belonged to the three pharmacies that one of the Charles de Ripa owned in the city in 1556: the one located in the Hospital real, the one inside the Alhambra and the one, wich was presented by collation by the Iglesia Mayor.
