Abstract
The soil is one of the most important resources of our planet because it is the life substrate. This workshop deals with the easy determination of some physical properties of the soil like texture, structure and color. These properties are fundamental when distinguishing the different horizons of the soil profile, thus allowing its classification and the elucidation of some characteristics of the behavior of the soil, specially those related to the water dynamic and the soil contamination processes.
